Entrepreneur who founded a number of technology ventures & contributed towards building notable products since his debut in the software industry at the age of 19. Harsha founded Microimage in 1995 and over the years built it to become a leading technology innovator in Human Capital Management, Media/Broadcast, Mobile & Digital Convergence. Under Harsha's leadership Microimage won many local & global awards to date. Microimage is considered perhaps the most Successful High School Start Up Story in the ICT industry of Sri Lanka. The company operates offices across Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Australia. In 2013, Harsha founded WSO2 Mobile Inc., to build a suite of lean, enterprise, mobileware to solve enterprise mobility challenges. This was incorporated, as a fully owned subsidiary of WSO2 Inc., the leading opensource middleware company. He left the company in 2014, after launching the WSO2 EMM suite to focus on Microimage business.Today he leads MiHCM Cloud a leading digital HCM platform which was ventured out of Microimage. MiHCM runs at scale across asia pacific region. MiHCM is a globally managed GOLD ISV partner of Microsoft Corporation. Harsha regularly speaks at global events in the areas of “Future of Work” & “Digital transformation of HR”. He was recognized as the “Most Outstanding Entrepreneur in IT/BPO industry in Sri Lanka” in 2007. He was also one of the 21 selected globally for the "2014 Eisenhower Innovation Fellowship" granted by the Eisenhower Fellowship in the US. He is part of the global Eisenhower Fellowships network as an EF 2014-Innovation fellow. Apart from leading technology ventures he is passionately involved in playing a role in building Sri Lanka’s social impact ecosystem. He is also an impact investor who invests in social enterprises. Harsha sits on the board of Lanka Impact Investing Network and also in the general committee of Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
