Glenn Robinson brings over thirty years of experience in senior management to the IC² Institute’s Global Commercialization Group (GCG). He has over twenty-five years directing sales, marketing and customer response teams, providing General Management oversight driving record growth in both domestic and international operations at various multinational corporations, including Dell Computer, Sun Microsystems and Apple Computer. He has also held executive management positions in the non-profit sector, as well as being a seasoned entrepreneur, having launched and successfully managed multiple start-up ventures. He is a consultant to the National Science Foundation in Washington, DC, and has held Board of Director, Mentor and Advisor positions with various technology business incubators, start-ups and non-profits. He is an innovative executive with proven success in driving results and teaching others through leadership skills. He has broad global experience, with impressive accomplishments directing senior management teams, leading operations and building organizations “from scratch”, in public, for-profit and non-profit sectors, with depth of experience serving global Fortune 500 clients, small and medium-sized businesses and non-profits. He has proven experience designing, building and implementing start-up organizations spanning geographies and industries, as well as extensive background creating and building entrepreneurial teams. His superior multi-lingual, multi-cultural communication and interpersonal skills have been the foundation of his success in the global arena. Mr. Robinson currently directs GCG regional new business acquisition and enterprise acceleration programs. He holds a dual Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in English and Spanish Philology from San Jose State University, is a certified Foreign Language and ESL instructor, and completed his Masters of Arts coursework in Spanish at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
